Final chance to comment on UKWAS 5 Second Revision Draft

Stakeholders are reminded that they have two weeks left to make comment on the Second Revision Draft of UKWAS 5 before the consultation period ends on 30^th November.

The consultation draft has been prepared by a chamber-balanced working group reflecting economic, environmental and social interests taking full account of stakeholder input.

Working group chair, Peter Wilson, noted the vital role that stakeholder input plays in revising the UKWAS standard:

“Stakeholder feedback is so important in developing UKWAS 5. We had fantastic feedback from stakeholders for the previous consultation round and your knowledge and thoughts helped shape this latest draft. This will be the final consultation round so please share your thoughts with us once more so we can finalise UKWAS 5”.

The aim is for a new fifth edition of the UKWAS standard to be effective from April 2023.
