Information Note on wind farm developments published

The UKWAS Steering Group approved Interpretation Note 8 at its meeting on 12th March 2013.

The IN addresses a request for interpretation of UKWAS requirements in relation to wind farm developments on certified forest land. The note was prepared by the UKWAS Interpretation Panel independently chaired by Roger Cooper, the former head of agricultural & forest sciences at Bangor University.

The panels members are drawn from economic, environmental and social interests and representatives of the Forest Stewardship Council UK and the PEFC UK are invited to contribute.
